Brian Mowrer
Founder/ Owner Director of Training Lead Instructor Brian is an active Law Enforcement Officer at a local Sheriff's Office. During his 22 years of service, Brian has been assigned to numerous duties within the Office; including, Corrections Officer, Corrections Emergency Response Team member, patrol deputy, School Resource Office, Detective, School Safety/ Security Liaison, Director of Training and Accreditation (duties consisted of ensuring the Office is in compliance with CALEA standards, and organizing and conducting all training for the Law Enforcement Bureau), and patrol Sergeant. Brian is currently serving as a Patrol Watch Commander in Office's Law Enforcement Bureau. He is also one of the Office's Master Firearms Instructors and range instructors. Brian was assigned to the Sheriff' Office's Special Operations Team in 2008, where he has served as the primary instructor on numerous topics and is a certified shoot house instructor, and one of the lead hostage rescue/ room entry instructors. He was the Special Operations Unit Commander between 2015-2019 until the Unit merged with another SWAT Team. Brian is currently assigned as a sniper on the Unit. Brian has trained numerous school districts, churches, and businesses in Active Threat response and has been instrumental is helping school district implement Active Threat response plans. He has worked with, and was a member of, the DuPage County Regional Office of Education's School Safety Task Force. Brian is 1 of 40 statewide Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board certified Master Active Threat instructors, and the only certified Master instructor in DuPage and Kane County. Brian attended the Suburban Law Enforcement Academy where he was the recipient of the "George Graves" Distinguished Recruit Award. Awarded to the Recruit Officer who "best exhibits the integrity, character, dedication and ethical attitude, which law enforcement professionals should demonstrate". He has received numerous Employee of the Month Awards and Commendations for Excellence. Brian has received numerous Letters of Appreciation from School Districts he has assisted with school safety and security measures.
