PPCT COURSES
Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) courses and philosophies were developed by Bruce Siddle. "PPCT specializes in use of force training that meets the varied needs of administrators,trainers and practitioners." The system is based on documented tactical, legal, and medical research. PPCT courses are certified courses and students receive a certificate upon completion of required materials, to include written and practical exams.
Defensive Tactics -
Program consists of the following disciplines:
PPCT Control Principles
Tactical Handcuffing
Pressure Point Control Tactics
Joint Locks
Defensive Counter strikes
Impact Weapon/ Collapsible Baton
Handgun Retention and Disarming
The program can be taught as a complete program or taught as individual classes.
Required hours of instruction:
Defensive Tactics complete program:
Recruit - 32 hours (4 days)
In-service - 24 hours (3 days)
Re-certification - 16 hours (2 days)
Spontaneous Knife Defense System:
Recruit - 20 hours (2 1/2 days)
In-service - 16 hours (2 days)
Re-certification - 8 hours (1 day)
